Our unique four-year BFA in Dance program combines the acclaimed, rigorous training and philosophy of Alonzo King LINES Ballet with the comprehensive liberal arts education and social values of Dominican University of California. All applicants to LINES Ballet BFA at Dominican must submit both an artistic application to LINES Ballet and an academic application to Dominican. This online portal is only for the artistic application to LINES Ballet – information regarding Dominican’s academic application process can be found here. Please note that BFA in Dance applicants do not need to complete the Arts Supplement portion of Dominican’s academic application.

The artistic application involves an audition as well as the following materials:

• Letter of intent describing how dance has led to a deeper understanding of yourself and the world 
• Letter of recommendation from a dance teacher 
• Resume of dance experience
• Headshot
• 3 min video of a contemporary solo 
• $36 application fee

These materials must be submitted prior to your audition. All auditions must be completed by April 1.
