Application, Admission, (Step 1)
All BFA programs in the School of Theatre & Dance require an audition or interview for consideration. Prior to scheduling an audition or interview, students must first apply to and be accepted by the Millikin University Office of Admission. Students may apply to Millikin using the Common App or through our website at www.millikin.edu/apply. It typically takes 2-3 weeks to render a decision once Admissions has received all required application materials.  Admission is rolling and there is NO FEE TO APPLY.

Please note:  The Common App can take a week or more to reach us. The Millikin application is submitted directly to our Office of Admission in real time.

Pre-Screens (STEP 2)
Auditions for our BFA Performance programs are offered by invitation only through a pre-screen process here on GetAcceptd.  The submission of pre-screen materials requires an access code which is included in the Millikin Admissions Packet.

Schedule an Audition (Step 3)
Those who receive an invitation to audition for our program will be prompted to login to GetAcceptd and schedule their audition using the scheduling app.

Additional Information

Pre-screen materials will be viewed in the order in which they are received.  Prescreen deadlines are tied to individual audition dates.  Our audition team will make every effort to render a decision at least 2 weeks prior to the audition date assigned to the deadline.   Submissions received after a pre-screen deadline will be viewed. However, we cannot guarantee a decision will be rendered prior to the audition date to which that deadline is assigned. Early submissions are also accepted - for example, you may submit a prescreen by the November deadline for an audition in March.

Millikin participates in the Common Musical Theatre Prescreen program.
Applicants may elect to submit materials following the Common Prescreen guidelines or by using the Millikin Audition Requirements. Details can be found on the Musical Theatre application page here on GetAcceptd
