Welcome to the Art of Acting Studio Online Application Portal!

The Art of Acting Studio is an acting school in Los Angeles. Its roots go back to Jacob P. Adler, one of the great actors of the American Yiddish Theater; to Stella Adler, legendary acting teacher and practitioner of modern acting technique; and also to Harold Clurman, cofounder of the Group Theater. The spirit that has animated the American acting landscape for the past 100 years infuses the Art of Acting Studio’s goals and mission, which revolves around the idea that growth as an actor and growth as a human being are synonymous.

APPLYING ONLINE

Through Acceptd, you will be able to submit an online application as well as any video auditions if required by your program of interest. 

STEP 1:
Decide which program you would like to apply to. For a detailed description of each program, please visit us here. Below is a listing of each Program Group and Program Name.

PROFESSIONAL CONSERVATORY (January 2024) Application deadline is November 1, 2023.
PROFESSIONAL CONSERVATORY (September 2024) Application Deadline is March 15th, 2024.

SUMMER PROGRAMS: 

• Summer Conservatory - April 1, 2024
• Advanced Film Intensive - April 1, 2024

PART-TIME WORKSHOPS: Rolling Admissions

STEP 2:
Choose the appropriate Program Group from the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner of this page. Then choose the specific program for which you intend to apply. 

STEP 3:
You will be taken to a page where you can fill out an application and upload required materials including video clips. You will also have the option to be considered for multiple programs.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome within two weeks of the submission date.

Applying early is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED as the studio has rolling admissions. Once the limited class spots are filled, applicants will be applying for the wait-list.
