Ascent International Chamber Music Festival is an opportunity for outstanding string players and pianists age 14-30 to study solo and chamber music repertoire in an intensive setting. Ascent goes beyond the practice room to develop the musician as a whole. In 2024, the Chamber Music Festival will take place for the first time on the campus of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, OH.

Cello Festival: June 9- June 15, 2024 at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music
Chamber Music Festival: June 23- July 13, 2024 at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, OH

Admissions Deadlines:

February 1- Priority application and audition materials due. Applications accepted on a rolling basis after this date until all spaces are filled.
Early March - Admission notifications emailed to priority applicants
April 1 - Tuition reservation due
May 15 - Forms, Tuition Balance

Chamber Festival Tuition and Housing:

On-campus Tuition: $3870 Includes double occupancy room and board provided, single room available for an additional charge
Off-campus Tuition: $3270 includes lunch provided at WRA, off-campus participants will be required to be on campus daily for chamber rehearsals and coaching in addition to lessons and studio class.

Cello Festival Tuition:
On-campus Tuition: $1270 Includes room and board provided in dorm on the campus of the University of Cincinnati.
Off-campus Tuition: $970, tuition only, no meals provided. Daily attendance required.
