Ascent International Chamber Music Festival is an opportunity for outstanding string players age 13-30 to study solo and chamber music repertoire in an intensive setting. Ascent goes beyond the practice room to develop the musician as a whole. All festivals are held on the campus of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, OH. See below for additional program offerings

The Complete Cellists: June 8-14, 2025
Cello Festival: June 15- 21, 2025
Viola Festival: June 15-21, 2025
Chamber Music Festival: June 22- July 12, 2025
Adult Chamber Music Festival: July 13-July 19, 2025

Admissions Deadlines:

February 1- Priority application and audition materials due. Applications accepted on a rolling basis after this date until all spaces are filled.
Early March - Admission notifications emailed to priority applicants
April 1 - Tuition reservation due
May 15 - Forms, Tuition Balance

Chamber Festival Tuition and Housing:

On-campus Tuition: $3970 Includes double occupancy room and board provided, single room available for an additional charge
Off-campus Tuition: $3370 includes lunch provided at WRA, off-campus participants will be required to be on campus daily for chamber rehearsals and coaching in addition to lessons and studio class.

The Complete Cellist, Viola & Cello Festival Tuition:
On-campus Tuition: $1270 Includes double occupancy room and board provided, single room available for an additional charge
Off-campus Tuition: $1070, includes lunch provided at WRA. Daily attendance required.
