2021-2022 Alabama Symphony Youth Orchestra Auditions

Audition for the Alabama Symphony Youth Orchestra (ASYO) and the Music Opportunity Program’s Alabama Youth Symphony! Each year, we partner with the Music Opportunity Program’s Alabama Youth Symphony (AYS) for auditions. Directors from both programs hear each audition and place the applicants in the ensemble that is the best fit.

Live, virtual auditions will be held on Saturday, May 15 from 9am CST to 5pm CST via AuditionRoom.

Auditions are open to students ages 12-22 who play one of the following instruments:
Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Harp, Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, French Horn, Trumpet, Trombone, Tuba, Percussion

*Please note that while we wish we had a spot for everyone, auditioning does not guarantee a spot in either ensemble.
