Festival Napa Valley: Blackburn Music Academy

The Festival Napa Valley Blackburn Music Academy is an immersive summer program for emerging professional instrumentalists and vocalists in the idyllic setting of Napa Valley. The Festival Napa Valley Blackburn Music Academy is led by a distinguished core faculty of musicians from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music and professional organizations around the world. Academy musicians participate in chamber and orchestral concerts, workshops, and a variety of professional development activities.  The dates for the Festival Napa Valley Blackburn Music Academy are July 3-21, 2024.  

In order to alleviate financial barriers to first-rate educational opportunities, all Fellows receive free tuition, a modest travel stipend, most meals, and housing for the duration of the Festival.  The application fee is $65.  For those invited to the festival, a $365 registration deposit will be needed to reserve one's place and which will be refunded upon arrival.
