AT THIS TIME, WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING ANY APPLICANTS FOR MUSICAL THEATRE. DUE TO AN UNPRECEDENTED NUMBER OF APPLICANTS, WE HAVE FILLED ALL AVAILABLE AUDITION SLOTS FOR THE REMAINING AUDITIONS. PLEASE CONTACT KEN MARTIN (firstname.lastname@example.org) WITH ANY QUESTIONS.
We are still accepting applicants for Physical Theatre and Acting until Feb. 21st and Design and Technology until March 15th.
Welcome to the pre-screening website for the Coastal Carolina University BFA programs in Acting, Musical Theatre, and Physical Theatre. Thank you for considering our professional theatre training program. We have begun accepting auditions for the Fall 2015 incoming company. For questions, please contact Ken Martin at email@example.com.
All students who are interested in becoming a member of a BFA Acting, Musical Theatre or Physical Theatre ensemble at CCU must complete a pre-screening process either by video or regional audition.
You need not apply to Coastal Carolina University until you have completed the pre-screening and have been invited to audition on campus or at our auditions in Chicago.
To begin the process, choose “Bachelor of Fine Arts” in the Program menu below, then choose the specific program for which you intend to apply. Should you wish to apply to more than one BFA program you need to complete the process for each program (e.g. once for Acting, once for Musical Theatre.) You will be taken to a page where you can upload your headshot, resume, and video clips.
Potential Acting students, please submit two monologues. The two selections must not exceed three minutes and must be from published plays.
