We offer a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Arts with concentrations in Musical Theatre, Acting, Physical Theatre, and Design & Production.

Please read all instructions and guidelines over carefully.

All students who are interested in being considered for the B.F.A. Theatre Arts programs at CCU must complete a pre-screening process  followed by a final audition/interview with the faculty of the Department of Theatre at Carolina University. 

If passed through the pre-screen by our faculty you will receive an invitation to register for a final audition/interview. You need not apply to Coastal Carolina University prior to the pre-screen process. Please note that offers for spots in the B.F.A. degree concentrations cannot be made until one has applied and been accepted to the university. Deadline for university applications is February 1, 2024. In order to ensure full consideration, it is in your best interest to have applied and been accepted to Coastal Carolina University prior to your final audition date. 

To begin the process through Acceptd, navigate to the Program menu on the left, then choose the specific program for which you intend to apply. Should you wish to apply to more than one B.F.A. program you need to complete the process for each program (e.g. once for Acting, once for Physical Theatre). You will be taken to a page where you can upload your headshot, resume, digital portfolio, and video clips.
