Cornish Theater Live Virtual Audition Scheduling:
Welcome to the live virtual audition platform for the Department of Theater, at Cornish College of the Arts. We are very excited to see your work. Auditions are required for the BFA in: Acting/Original Works and the BFA in: Musical Theater.
NOTE: This webpage is only allows you to register for live virtual auditions using Acceptd's AuditionRoom Platform. If you hope to schedule an in-person audition at The National Unified Auditions or on-campus CLICK HERE!
Please DO NOT register for a live virtual audition until you have started your admission application to Cornish. Applications can be started directly from our website by CLICKING HERE, or students can apply through the CommonApp as well. Once you have started your application, you may schedule your live virtual audition directly from this webpage.
All Musical Theater applicants are required to submit a recorded dance video in the "Portfolio" section of their Cornish admission application. If you have questions about how to do this contact Sr. Admissions Counselor: Albert Rubio
Please note: If you are interested in being considered for both the BFA in: Acting/Original Works and the BFA in: Musical Theater, please submit the Musical Theater application, and follow the Musical Theater Audition Requirements.
We encourage students who are interested in directing and playwriting to submit a short video of a piece you directed, or a sample from a play that you have written. If you are applying to Musical Theater and would like to showcase additional skills like tap, tumbling, flexibility, etc., feel free to include this additional material in the “Portfolio” section of your Cornish admission application. This is completely optional, and choosing to not submit additional material will not affect our consideration of you for the program.
Thank you. We look forward to meeting you, and seeing your work.
