Benjamin T. Rome School of Music, Drama, and Art.
We are looking forward to getting to know you!

The Benjamin T. Rome School of Music is a dual admission program. You will need to audition and apply to the university. To begin your application process, please go here. You may complete both applications simultaneously.

UNDERGRADUATE: Applications for Fall 2025 will be open on August 1, 2024. 
We will be offering in-person and online submissions. Please select a program to see specific guidelines and audition dates. Online submissions
for undergraduates are from August 1, 2023 through January 2025. 

GRADUATE: Applications will be close for Fall 2024 on July 1, 2024 for International students, and July 31 for domestic students. Fall 2025 applications will be open on August 1, 2024. 

Whether in the classroom or in student performances on campus, at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, or in other exciting venues across D.C., you will hone your skills, pursue your passion, and use the beauty you create to serve your community and the world. You will be encouraged and inspired by renowned faculty in a comprehensive, conservatory-style environment that fosters excellence in concert, stage, and church performance. 

In the Departments of Music, Drama, and Art, you will find plenty of opportunities to develop your artistic style. You will be trained as a performer, artist, and scholar. You will develop valuable critical thinking and writing skills which will help you as you pursue your career. Whether you plan to perform professionally or simply want to explore your passion for the arts more deeply, the Rome School will shape you not just as an artist, but as a whole person.


We offer a wide range of degrees from undergraduate to doctoral including:
