Founded in 1961, Eastern Music Festival is an internationally-renowned classical music festival located on the campus of Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. Eastern Music Festival is an outstanding summer educational experience for talented, dedicated young artists.

FIVE-WEEK PROGRAMS: 

YOUNG ARTISTS ORCHESTRA PROGRAM - Ages 14-23 (cannot turn 24 prior to August 1)
Dates: June 28-August 2, 2025
To Apply: Fill out an application and upload your video audition/application materials through Acceptd.
Application Deadline: February 19, 2025
Application Fee: $40 prior to January 1, 2005 and $80 thereafter

PIANO PROGRAM - Ages 14+
Dates: June 28-August 2, 2025
To Apply: Fill out an application and upload your video audition/application materials through Acceptd.
Application Deadline: February 19, 2025
Application Fee: $40 prior to January 1, 2005 and $80 thereafter

CONDUCTING INSTITUTE SCHOLARS - Must be 18 or older
Dates: June 28-August 2, 2025

Application Deadline: February 19, 2025
Application Fee: $40 prior to January 1, 2005 and $80 thereafter

STRING FELLOWSHIPS – Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass – Must be between the ages of 23 and 33 (cannot turn 34 prior to August 1)
Dates: June 28-August 2, 2025

Application Fee: $40 prior to January 1, 2005 and $80 thereafter

BASS CLARINET / CLARINET FELLOWSHIP – Must be between the ages of 23 and 33 (cannot turn 34 prior to August 1)
NOTE: Selected Fellow is REQUIRED to bring their own Bass Clarinet for use during the Festival.

CONTRABASSOON / BASSOON FELLOWSHIP – Must be between the ages of 23 and 33 (cannot turn 34 prior to August 1)
NOTE: Selected Fellow is REQUIRED to bring their own Contrabassoon for use during the Festival.

TENOR TROMBONE FELLOWSHIP – Must be between the ages of 23 and 33 (cannot turn 34 prior to August 1)
