at Florida International University (FIU Theatre).

All applicants to our BA in Theatre, BFA in Theatre Performance, and BFA in Musical Theatre are required to audition. Applicants to our BFA in Theatre Design & Technology are required to submit a portfolio file. 

Please note that all applicants to our programs must first complete FIU’s online admission application. The link to the undergraduate application is available here. Applicants who submit their audition file to Acceptd but who do not complete FIU’s online university application cannot be reviewed for admission by the department.

Before beginning the online pre-screen audition/portfolio submission process through the Acceptd portal or FIU’s online application process, please make sure you carefully read the Department of Theatre’s audition submission requirements and application instructions, which can be found on our department’s admission page. The audition/portfolio requirements differ for each program and the website will give you all the information necessary for both the application process and the portfolio/audition submission process.    Callback dates are listed on our website.
