For the first time, students from across the country can focus entirely on their passion from the comfort of home. Created by the Theatre Program at Fordham College at Lincoln Center, the Fordham Summer Musical Theatre Intensive is an affordable five-week, four-credit online training program that allows young artists to train and gain access to the professional business of musical storytelling.

From June 1 through July 1, 2021, each day presents a varied schedule of four primary classes: Musical Theatre Workshop, Vocal Technique, Dance for Musical Theatre, and Master Classes in Acting and Theatre Games. The faculty, who are working professionals, offer practical experience and varied techniques to help students push beyond their theatrical comfort zone.

While coursework will take place online, students are invited to live and study at Fordham’s Lincoln Center campus on West 60th Street in Manhattan, at the northern end of the Broadway Theatre District.

Students will enjoy visits from luminaries and forge contacts with our guest speakers, including reputable talent agents and managers, who specifically address topics pertaining to breaking into the business and promoting a healthy and strategic career. Past guest speakers include Bartlett Sher, Michael Grief, Mark Brokaw, Victoria Clark, Jason Tam, Lisa Iacucci, Michael McGoff, and Philip Carlson.
