Dear Applicant:
We at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami would like to extend a sincere welcome and hope you will join us for an exciting experience of music making! We have a BRAND NEW summer program that will inspire your musical creativity, all while working with world class professors and musicians in the music industry!
Our camp offerings for the 2024 Summer Season include:
- Youth Day Camp: (There are 3 sections)
- Young Mozarts (2nd Grade - 5th Grade)
- Young Beethovens (6th Grade - 8th Grade)
- Young Rockers (6th Grade - 8th Grade) - Songwriting (9th Grade – 12th Grade)
- Rock Band (9th Grade – 12th Grade)
- Music Production (9th Grade – 12th Grade)
- Jazz Vocal Intensive (9th Grade – 12th Grade)
- Jazz Instrumental Intensive (9th Grade – 12th Grade)
- Frost Chamber and Orchestra Experience (9th Grade – 12th Grade)
For those students who reside outside of the Miami area, we offer an on campus dormitory option for all high school camps. These costs are SEPARATE from the camp tuition costs. Please be sure to review the resource section to see the cost of the camps as well as the cost of the camp dormitory option.
Starting the application process is easy! Simply navigate to the drop down window and select the camp program. All program information and audition requirements will be listed in their respective strand. You will complete the application and submit the required materials (video, audio, and/or other) directly through your application portal. Please note that there is a $50.00 NON-REFUNDABLE application fee that is applied to your submission. (Note: Application fee does not go towards the cost of camp tuition.)
Space is limited, so please do not delay! Audition materials and information will be listed for each camp along with specific requirements. APPLICATION DEADLINE for all camps will be set for Friday, April 26, 2024 or until all spots are filled! Camp Tuition
The tuition rates listed below is applicable for all campers: Day and Overnight Campers.
Tuition also includes lunch and a camp T-shirt.
Two-Week Camp Sessions:
Youth Day Camp: June 17 – 28, 2024
- Young Mozarts: $1,000.00

Frost Chamber and Orchestra Experience: July 8 – 20, 2024.

One-Week Camp Sessions:
July 8 – 13, 2024
Songwriting: $1,100.00
Rock Band: $1,100.00
Music Production: $1,100.00
July 15 – 20, 2024
Jazz Vocal Intensive: $1,100.00
Jazz Instrumental Intensive: $1,100.00
Overnight Camper Housing Costs:
(Does NOT include summer tuition costs)
Housing costs includes the bed linen fee, and meals (Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner)
6-Night Stay: $950.00
