Welcome to the 2022 National Concert of Hope and Healing!

We are very excited about our upcoming tour and encourage orchestral musicians and vocalists to audition for the American Honors Youth Orchestra and the American Honors Chorus and their performance of “The National Concert of Hope and Healing” at Carnegie Hall on July 2, 2022.

The ensembles are open to the country’s best orchestral and choral musicians from the age of 16 and above for Chorus and between the ages of 16 and 25 for the orchestra. This auditioned youth orchestra and full Chorus will be in residence in the NYC area to rehearse, interact with each other, and learn from exemplary section coaches in preparation for the tour.  The American Honors Youth Orchestra and The American Honors Chorus will perform separately as well as together for this exciting tour.  As a member of the Orchestra and Chorus, you will serve as an American Music Ambassador representing your home, school, ensemble, state, and region of your country in our “National Concert of Hope and Healing”.  

Open to US citizens or permanent residents (green card holders) from throughout the country, The American Honors Youth Orchestra and The American Honors Chorus are open, by audition, to orchestral and choral musicians beginning at the age of 16 (by June 1, 2022). Bringing together the best musicians from throughout the US, the Orchestra and Chorus will perform in Carnegie Hall in New York City. 

We hope you’ll consider auditioning for our orchestra and chorus to have an opportunity to bring back live music, hope, and healing to an appreciative audience in 2022.
