Auditions are closed for Fall 2024. Should you wish to submit a late application, please contact Kelly Ibarra at kibarra@uh.edu for approval to proceed.
March 1, 2024 - Recorded Audition Deadline*
*If submitting a recorded audition, do not submit your application until you have a recording that follows all live audition requirements uploaded to your application prior to submission. Pre-screening requirements do not apply.
Choral Conducting applicants audition on alternate dates that can be found after selecting the appropriate program in the drop down menus to the left.
Priority Moores School of Music Undergraduate and Graduate Deadline is December 1, 2023 (This does not apply to recorded auditions).
Undergraduate Voice applicants and all Graduate applicants (except Recorded Auditions) are required to submit pre-screening materials (requirements listed within the application). All other undergraduate areas do not require undergraduate pre-screening submissions. Please submit your materials by the priority deadlines to expedite review.
Live auditions are preferred, however, if you must submit a Recorded Audition, applicants are encouraged to capture their performances using the highest video and audio quality possible. Please also follow the audition requirements below when preparing your recording. All recorded applications are due March 1, 2024.
Please consult the Undergraduate Audition Requirements or Graduate Audition Requirements document for the audition expectations within each applied division.
