How to Apply
Step One: Start your Kennesaw State University application.
Applicants must begin a KSU application first in order to receive a KSU Student ID Number to link the KSU application to the Bailey School of Music application. First-year freshmen must apply through CommonApp. Transfer students must apply through GAFutures

  • Within 1-2 business days of submitting your application, KSU will send you an email with your KSU Student ID Number and instructions on accessing your Pathway to Enrollment. 
  • If you have submitted your KSU application and need assistance getting your KSU Student ID Number, you can find look-up instructions here
Note: Students who are currently enrolled in courses at KSU and are seeking a change of major can skip this step.

Step Two: Submit your Bailey School of Music Application.
Select an application for the Bailey School of Music from the dropdown menus on the left and begin the application through Acceptd. You will need your KSU Student ID Number to begin the Bailey School of Music Application. 

Step Three: Complete your Bailey School of Music Entrance Audition.
This step is required for all students apply for Music Performance, Music Education, and Music Minor programs. Click here for specific audition dates

The Kennesaw State University Bailey School of Music is a dual admission program. Students must apply and be admitted to both Kennesaw State University and the Bailey School of Music in order to pursue a music major or minor. You DO NOT need to have been admitted to KSU before applying and auditioning.
