Lotus Chamber Music Festival provides a unique educational experience for accomplished young artists by combining a summer music festival with a holistic wellness retreat.

Based in Walla Walla, WA, the Lotus Chamber Music Festival provides a unique educational experience for accomplished young artists by combining a summer music festival with a holistic wellness retreat. This two-week getaway on the campus of Whitman College helps students create a union of mind, body, spirit, and music-making in a nurturing, supportive environment. In addition to musician’s wellness classes, private lessons, chamber coachings, masterclasses, and performance opportunities, students will have ample free time to practice, journal, and explore the quaint downtown Walla Walla.

Sample Daily Student Schedule

8:00-9:00 - Breakfast
10:00-11:00 - Physical training (yoga, Alexander technique, Feldenkrais method, etc.)
12:00-1:00 - Lunch
2:00-5:00 - Ensemble rehearsal or coaching
6:00-7:00 - Dinner
7:30-9:30 - Musician’s wellness class (topics such as self-confidence and performance anxiety), communal “share time,” masterclass, or concert
