The Lunigiana International Music Festival is a 10-day summer music program happening in Italy, in Tuscany, and it is open for strings (violin, viola, cello), piano, piano 4-hands, voice, flute, pre-formed chamber music groups (piano&strings, strings only, piano&voice, piano&voice&strings, flute&piano, flutes ensembles, winds with piano, winds with strings and piano, winds only), musicians (solo or in a group) who wants to have specialized lessons on baroque music and/or contemporary music, and composers involved in the contemporary music program.

DATES: July 18-28, 2024

PROGRAMS OFFERED: Piano, Piano 4 Hands, Violin, viola, cello, flute, chamber music, baroque music and contemporary music (composers & Instrumentalists)

These are the opportunities available:

  • private music lessons with renowned faculty members
  • music masterclasses with guest artists
  • chamber music coachings with renowned faculty members
  • Being involved in the contemporary music ensemble and/or the baroque music ensemble 
  • seminars on music performance, music management, music education 
  • workshops on baroque and contemporary music
  • career coachings by Victoria Paterson, violinist and General Director Mostly Modern Projects
  • a concerto competition with multiple prizes - concerts opportunities and a monetary prize
  • an orchestra project with performances with orchestra (for strings)
  • orchestral coachings with BBC Philharmonic concertmaster, Yuri Torchinsky (for strings)
  • a festival luthier available at all times (for strings)
  • Italian lessons (mandatory for singers, optional for others)
  • Daily concerts in stunning locations all around Lunigiana!
  • free-time activities to explore our territory
