Miami’s theatre programs are designed to help you focus on your personal interests and professional artistic growth while receiving all the benefits of a liberal arts education.
Beginning in your first semester you can be actively involved in our productions, as first-year students are often cast in our season and have opportunities to work in a variety of production roles. We offer opportunities for students to direct, design, and stage-manage full-scale productions throughout their college careers, and can help you identify professional opportunities such as internships and apprenticeships in all areas of theatre.

In addition to your materials on Acceptd, you must complete a Miami University Application. Indicate THEATRE (Code FA86) as your intended college major.
Entrance into the major requires sharing two examples of your creative work (which you can upload here) and an interview.Select the BA program from the "Start Your Application" menu on the left for information on what we're looking for in the interview.
