Welcome to MTAC Yolo County’s 2021 Virtual Music Festival, Connected Through Music! In a time of separation, we are glad that we can come together virtually through this music festival.
With Connected through Music, we hope to provide students with an evaluation experience that will prepare them for upcoming Certificate of Merit evaluations, Music from Home performances, or just sharing music with family and friends virtually. Each student will upload a video of their performance and a score of their repertoire. A CM-qualified evaluator will then give comments and a rating. All students will receive a medal for participation. A recital video will be made of students whose performances have been deemed exceptional.
Students may upload videos/scores January 1, 2021 to January 10, 2021 at 11:59 pm. Results will be available by January 20, so that comments can be useful in preparing for other evaluations. The fee to participate is $45.
