MTNA Senior / Young Artist Brass and Voice Performance Competitions

Congratulations on entering the MTNA Senior / Young Artist Brass and Voice Competitions!

MTNA Senior/ Young Artist Brass and Voice Performance Competitions are two-tiered competitions: the preliminary round, by video submission only; and the final round, live at the MTNA National Conference. Entrants will compete without regard to the state or division in which they live or take lessons, and seven will be selected in both the Brass and Voice categories from a nationwide pool of applicants to compete in the final round.

Please carefully follow the instructions below to submit your program. Entrants will be notified of the results no later than the week of January 15, 2025.

IMPORTANT DATES

• November 1, 2024: Online Application available on Acceptd
• December 4, 2024: Application and video submission deadline at 3:00 p.m. EST (no late applications accepted)
• Entrants  will submit a video performance of the repertoire listed on the original application no later than Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time. Winners and Representatives will receive a unique code that must be entered in the Division Video Application. If a winner does not submit videos by the deadline, the alternate will be contacted and given until 3:00 p.m. Eastern time on December 13 to submit his or her videos.
• Winners  will be required to travel to perform at the MTNA National Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, March 15–19, 2025
