Musical Arts Madrid (MAM) is a modern music college located in the vibrant capital of Spain, created in the 21st century for the musicians of today. We’re a brand new music college that is bringing together the most distinguished professors from around the world. Past students of our faculty hold principal seats in orchestras all over the globe.

Our world-class faculty roster and our primary focus on career advancement make the Musical Arts Madrid experience one where you will be exposed to the needs of both the American and the European labor markets, in a unique environment around what we call Globalized Learning.

Musical Arts Madrid is focused on blending together New World and Old World musical traditions into the student’s experience. This singularity occurs through a new concept: Team Tutoring, which, combined with Globalized Learning, means that some studios will offer a team of two or more professors, each undertaking a tutor role towards the student. At the same time, we also maintain the possibility of choosing to study with a specific professor, which can have a deeper impact on students with less maturity.

Audition procedures

The audition procedure at Musical Arts Madrid is a one-step process done by reviewing the recorded video materials you submit with your application.

As an applicant, you will only need to pay a one-time application fee (see below), which will cover the entire application process at once. Be advised, however, that in some cases students could be required to hold a virtual interview, to be done online on dates to be announced individually.

Audition Repertoire

For both Undergraduate and Graduate levels, the audition repertoire will consist of a recent video recording of 20-30' that includes at least two contrasting-style pieces, according to the desired level. The video may be recorded in a single file, or it can be sent in different files, as long as the sum of all of them stays within the 20-30' duration.
