NEMC Core Program
Summers at New England Music Camp are magical! Each session, 150 students from all across the country join together on the beautiful 40-acre lakefront campus for an enriching experience of music, fun, and friendship.
The program at Core NEMC is designed to give students ages 11-18 the opportunity to immerse themselves in music while still enjoying the fun and friendship of summer.
There are Three, Two-Week Sessions. Campers may come for two, four, or six week options.
Session One: June 28 - July 12, 2026
Session Two: July 12 - July 26, 2026
Session Three: July 26 - August 9, 2026

Concentration Weeks
Intensive Chamber Music - Session Two
Students interested in the Intensive Chamber Music Concentration should sign up for Session Two. During Intensive Chamber Music, students immerse in the world of chamber music through musical collaboration and community-building. Participants focus on one to two pieces in the chamber music literature working alongside our dynamic faculty with a focus on instrumental skill development, score reading, the art of active listening, navigating group dynamics, and the development of leadership skills. Students will also participate in all other Camp Programming like private lessons, large ensembles, and afternoon recreational activities.

Intensive Voice: Musical Theatre & Classical Voice - Session 3
Featuring a unique, holistic, approach to musical theater & classical voice training, customized to serve students’ individual needs. The curriculum incorporates self-care and prioritizes wellness-based practices with an emphasis on the exploration craft and one’s artistry as well as the nuts-and-bolts of healthy, sustainable technique. In addition to working with top industry professionals, students will enjoy quality time on the lake swimming, kayaking, and building friendships that will last a lifetime!

Prelude - Session ONe
NEMC Prelude Camp par of Session One at NEMC and welcomes upper elementary musicians into our Core Camp experience. Specifically designed for ages 9-11, this camp will bring fun and excitement to playing in a group! Each morning, campers will rehearse in our core ensembles, as well as participate in small group lessons, ear training sessions, and alternative music classes to enhance their playing skills. In the afternoons and evenings, campers will participate in traditional recreational activities to enjoy the lake-front campus of NEMC. The session culminates with a final concert performance at the Bowl in the Pines.
