Welcome to Niagara University’s Department of Theatre & Fine Arts on Acceptd!

For over 50 years, Niagara University has prepared graduates to successfully pursue careers from Broadway to Hollywood! With each new year, we continue to raise the bar in theatre excellence and bring many new inspiring opportunities to our prospective and current students.

We at the Department of Theatre & Fine Arts remain committed to our mission: to prepare NU Theatre students for success navigating the realities of careers in professional theatre, through an intensive schedule and disciplined focus on rigorous academic coursework and practical production experience.

Our curriculum is uniquely designed, fusing a conservatory approach to theatre training with a liberal arts education. Niagara University Theatre’s ambitious production schedule means practical, onstage and/or backstage experience every semester. Students work closely with a distinguished faculty of academic and working professionals who are committed to their artistic development. Further supplementing the curriculum, students have opportunities to participate in Guest Artist master classes and workshops with renowned industry professionals.
