Leadership lives everywhere at Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. Since 1972, Orpheus musicians have worked together to perform music at a world-class level without a conductor or other central authority figure. Their unique method for doing so, the Orpheus Process®, guides collaborative participation across all aspects of the organization, from performance to programming to governance.

Orpheus is proud to launch Orpheus@Mannes, a new week-long chamber orchestra intensive in partnership with Mannes School of Music, at The New School's College of Performing Arts. The program will focus on teaching pre-professional musicians the Orpheus Process® and empowering them with communication and collaborative skills essential to thriving as artists and as people.
