Welcome!
Welcome to the online audition website for the music department at Otterbein University. We offer a Bachelor of Music Performance, a Bachelor of Music Education, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music, with available concentrations in Theory and Composition, and History and Literature. We are sorry you cannot make it to campus but are very pleased that you are auditioning for us. Your materials will be reviewed for admission and scholarship consideration.
Students who cannot attend an on-campus audition may audition through this site. Additionally, students interested in participating in marching band, choir, orchestra, or another ensemble as a non-music major, may submit materials for scholarship consideration. For details, see the Otterbein Music Department website.
We encourage students who can travel to campus to schedule an audition on one of the following dates through the website linked above:
2024-2025 Audition Dates (For 2025-2026 School Year):
To begin the process, choose your instrument in the Program menu to the left. The audition requirements for all degree tracks, as well as participation awards for non-majors, are the same for each instrument. You will be taken to a page where you can upload your information, resume, and video/audio clips. Video is preferred, but audio clips will be accepted.
We will conduct interviews with students who have applied via Acceptd on Saturday, February 15, 2025, pending availability. If you are not available on February 15, we will schedule an alternate time.
If you have questions about the admission or audition process, please contact us at music@otterbein.edu. Otterbein also offers degrees in Musical Theatre and Acting. For more information and to audition for these programs, please click here.
Thank you. We look forward to hearing your work!
