All applicants to Pace Performing Arts are required to upload the specified materials to the major(s) of interest in order to receive a callback audition or interview. A prospective student may upload materials for as many major programs as they wish, but may only submit to each major one time. Please note that the non-refundable fee is required on your first pre-screen submission ONLY. For any subsequent applications to other majors at Pace University, please enter the following coupon code after entering your credit card information: 02pace20.
Those applicants issued callbacks for one or more majors will be required to audition or interview for our faculty. For Fall 2021 consideration, we will only be conducting live virtual auditions and interviews. No student will be admitted to a major without having auditioned or been interviewed by our faculty panel. NOTE: Due to the volume of applicants to our programs, faculty do not provide individual feedback on the audition or interview.
To begin the audition and interview process, all prospective students must submit an Application for Admission to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions before December 15, 2020 (recommended application due date is November 1, 2020). The application does not need to be complete with transcripts, letters of recommendation, essay, etc., before uploading the audition or portfolio materials to Acceptd. A University ID (UID) will be issued electronically upon receipt of the application. This ID will be needed when completing your Acceptd profile/upload and is usually found in the upper right-hand corner of your confirmation email from Pace. Please note that the Acceptd fee is a one-time, non-refundable audition fee for Pace University.
Applicants select their audition/interview date preferences in their Acceptd submission. Once the digital submission through Acceptd has been completed, our faculty will review all audition or portfolio materials and issue callbacks on a rolling basis. In the case that an applicant is issued a callback to more than one major, multiple in-person auditions or interviews will need to be scheduled.
