Peabody offers 
Bachelor of Music degrees in performance, jazz performance, composition, computer music, dance, music engineering and technology, and music education, as well as graduate and diploma-level programs of study.

A few highlights include:

  • Music for New Media, a cutting-edge degree program designed to prepare strong musicians for careers composing for film, television, and video games, under the leadership of music tech pioneer Thomas Dolby.
  • The BFA in Dance, headed by danah bella, which prepares students to be at the forefront of dance innovation through performance, choreographic and critical historical and theoretical exploration.
  • New Graduate Jazz fellowships that will cover full tuition plus a stipend for up to three MM or GPD Jazz students in each year of the program to study and perform with Richard and Elizabeth Case Chair in Jazz Studies Sean Jones.
  • The newly launched Low-Residency Master of Music Degree in composition, offering the artistic excellence and academic rigor of a Peabody education in a more focused and flexible 13-month format.
