Audition for one or more of the following roles:

Actor/Singers

Our Actor/Singers blend the best of both worlds in terms of acting and singing, performing at Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena stage in multiple playful, interactive live shows per day. They can also be found interacting with guests throughout the Park or connecting with the DFW community during special appearances or events to promote the Park. Playful, family-friendly stage presence, strong vocal proficiency and improvisational skills, and a background in dance or musical theater jazz is a must!

Dancers/Character Dancers

Our Dancers and Character Dancers are vital to bringing the world of Peppa Pig to life through energetic proficiencies in a variety of styles including jazz, musical theatre, ballet, and hip-hop.  Partnering skills, break dancing, tumbling, tap, or any other specialties are always a plus.  Preference in casting given to those who are trained (or willing to be trained) dancing/moving in full-body costumes. Dancers and Character Dancers perform at Mr. Potato’s Showtime Arena stage in multiple playful, interactive live shows per day, connecting with guests and creating those magic memories that will last a lifetime.

Character Performers

Our Character Performers are animated, personable performers with curious, outgoing personalities that truly bring the globally beloved Peppa Pig and her family to life.  Performing in multiple playful, interactive meet and greets a day, Character Performers ignite the excitement of meeting Peppa and her family in-person by greeting guests, shaking hands, posing for pictures, giving hugs, and--of course!--jumping in imaginary muddy puddles. When not performing as a Character Performer, they also act as a trusty Sidekick and escort, assisting with multiple guest interactions throughout the day and giving a voice to Peppa and the rest of the family.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How should I prepare for my audition?

  • Depending on the role, you may be asked to learn a beginner dance or movement combination, as well as participate in animation or improv exercises.
  • Character Performer auditions focus on animation and non-verbal communication, so comfortability with basic movement and physical coordination is important.
  • Actors and Singers should note that Actor/Singer roles at Peppa Pig Theme Park are intertwined—meaning Actors must be vocally proficient. Actor/Singers should come with a one-to-three-minute family-friendly, playful, or comedic side, as well as a prepared 16-bars of an up-tempo, pop or kid-friendly song to be sung acapella. They should also be prepared for a cold read/sing of a provided script/song.
  • Always arrive early enough to stretch and warm up before the audition begins.
  • Please wear form fitting dance or comfortable attire that allows a full range of movement. Sneakers or dance shoes are preferred. Jeans are not recommended.
  • Performers should bring along their resume and headshot, which will be retained by the audition team.
  • Auditioning can be a lengthy process; you may be asked to stay for an interview.
