Welcome to the online portal for PMF 2024 applications!

The Pacific Music Festival (PMF), founded in 1990 by Leonard Bernstein, is an international educational music festival held annually in Sapporo, Japan with the aim of fostering young musicians from all over the world.

PMF 2024 Orchestra Academy

Program period: July 5 - July 31, 2024

Eligibility: Orchestral instrumentalists between the ages of 18 and 29 as of July 1, 2024

Application deadline: January 17, 2024 at 12:00pm (noon) Japan Standard Time

Curriculum: Orchestral and chamber music coachings, rehearsals, masterclasses, and concerts, instructed by a faculty made up of principals/players from the major orchestras of Europe and the US, and led by world-class conductors.

*Please note that there will be no harp auditions in 2024.

Successful applicants to the PMF Orchestra Academy have their round-trip travel costs, accommodation, educational costs, and meals/meal-stipends provided by the festival.

PMF2024オーケストラアカデミー

参加日程：2024年7月5日～7月31日

受験資格：2024年7月1日時点で満18歳以上29歳以下の方

応募締切日：2024年1月17日（日本時間正午）

カリキュラム：オーケストラ及び室内楽を中心としたリハーサル、マスタークラス及び演奏会の実施。

*PMF2024ではハープ奏者の募集はありません。

オーディション合格者のフェスティバル参加にあたっての往復航空券、宿泊費、食費、受講料は、PMF組織委員会が負担いたします。
