This portal is ONLY for Finalists who previously attended National YoungArts Week as Underclassmen
If you are among the group of Finalists that attended National YoungArts Week as an underclassman and are currently eligible to be considered for Presidential Scholars in the Arts (PSA) nomination, this is the portal to submit your updated material.
Presidential Scholars in the Arts (PSA) is the arts portion of the U.S. Presidential Scholars program—National Recognition Week—that is administered by the U.S. Department of Education. The U.S. Presidential Scholars program annually celebrates 161 outstanding high school seniors with a weekend event and medallion ceremony each June in Washington, D.C.
YoungArts is the exclusive pathway to the U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts, the highest honor that can be awarded to any artistically talented graduating high school senior. Each year, up to 60 YoungArts national winners are nominated to the Presidential Scholars Commission with up to 20 students selected as Arts Scholars. The 20 winners create a performance based salute to all of the Scholars performing at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and artists and writers, exhibit their work at one of the Smithsonian art museums.
