Welcome to the online application portal for the 2025 Junior Division of the Palm Springs International Piano Competition (formerly The Waring). Young pianists, aged 13-17, are invited to apply for an opportunity to compete for more than $30,000 in prizes. The Competition takes place in Palm Springs and Palm Desert, CA from April 11-21, 2025. All in-person rounds will be livestreamed. On-line applications are due by November 15, 2025.

The mission of Palm Springs International Piano Competition (PSIPC) is to discover, promote and inspire promising young classical pianists through triennial public competitions, offering monetary prizes and significant performance and career opportunities, while providing local community educational outreach and engagement.

Since its founding in 1978, the PSIPC has grown from its humble beginnings into an internationally recognized piano competition that has hosted hundreds of pianists representing nearly 25 countries showcasing the wide reach of the institution.
