Applications
Welcome to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland’s online audition/application process. In order to be considered for a place at the RCS, applicants must have already applied through UCAS (except those applying to audition in the US for the Artist Diploma in Opera) and you will be asked to provide your UCAS ID as part of your Acceptd application.
For 2025/26 entry, all applicants must create an account regardless of their audition location choice. This platform will be used for applicants to choose their audition/interview timeslots. If you do not have an Acceptd account we will not be able to schedule your audition.
Many of our programmes require the submission of supplementary materials or video auditions (if you have chosen the recording option). You will be able to submit these using the Acceptd platform. Please check our course pages on our website www.rcs.ac.uk for programme specific information.
Example uses of the Acceptd platform can be found below:
- Schedule your audition/interview time
- Submit an audition recording to accompany a UCAS Conservatoires application.
- Submit a composition portfolio to accompany a UCAS Conservatoires application.
- Submit a creative response task, about your questionnaire and production/performance presentation for BA Production Arts and Design and BA Production Technology and Management ahead of your interview.
- Submit a portfolio submission and filmmaking written component for BA Filmmaking ahead of your interview.
- Submit photographs for BA Modern Ballet.
- Submit a proposal form for PhD/MPhil and DPerf to accompany your UCAS Conservatoires application. This information must match the information you supplied with your application either through UCAS Conservatoires or direct to the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
- Submit further information for MEd to accompany your UCAS Conservatoires application.
- Submit a Leverhulme Fellowship application and audition assessment.
