A Theatre major is a hands-on experience and you’ll be exposed to every part of it through our robust schedule of live productions through the Theatre Institute at Sage, which offers quality performing arts programming and provides students opportunities as performers, technicians, and teachers.
In the Art + Extended Media program, you’ll study traditional and digital techniques in studio classes, and synthesize your skill set with concepts that define your studio practice. You’ll also participate in an internship and complete a year-long capstone body of work that is exhibited in the annual BFA show. Upon graduation, your portfolio coupled with your critical thinking, aesthetic, technical and professional skills will prepare you for a variety of creative careers.
Our Graphic + Media Design program will prepare you for a career in graphic design, illustration, web design, motion graphics and video. Our curriculum includes coursework, internships, and a capstone project based on industry-recognized standards for professional designers. You will graduate with the skills, confidence, and business savvy to succeed in the visual communication field.
In our Interior + Spatial Design program, you’ll learn manual and digital drafting skills, space planning and construction methods; and how to apply sustainable materials, lighting, color, textiles, and furniture to create aesthetically pleasing and functional environments. Our curriculum includes studio classes, an internship, and a self-designed capstone project to prepare you for entry-level positions in interior design and eventual NCIDQ-certification.
As a Creative Arts in Therapy major, you’ll gain hands-on professional experience during two practicums and an internship providing training with many different populations. This provides hands-on skills and a degree that can be applied to higher learning in license-eligible fields such as Arts Education, Early Childhood Education, Mental Health Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, and Special Education.
