Theatre
Students in our theatre program have the opportunity to train in state-of-the-art facilities with distinguished faculty in a creative, collaborative and safe atmosphere.  We offer a broad range of courses in acting, directing and technical theatre to prepare students for a career in the arts.

Theatre majors have ample opportunity to apply their training and fine tune their skills on stage in productions ranging from Shakespeare to contemporary works.  Additional coursework includes training in stage combat, dialects and speech.

Musical Theatre
Students majoring in musical theatre will study, train and perform in a competitive, yet safe and supportive, environment.  Musical theatre majors are trained in voice, acting and dance in a coherent curriculum designed to prepare students to enter the professional world of musical theatre.

Vocal study for musical theatre majors focuses on a wide range of musical theatre literature and styles ranging from classical to pop.  In addition to voice and acting, Theatre Siena’s musical theatre curriculum focuses heavily on dance with courses in ballet, tap, modern and more.

Theatrical Design and Technology
The Theatrical Design and Technology major is designed for students who are interested in in pursuing a career in technical theatre. Majors can choose a concentration in one or more of the following areas: Scenic Design, Costumes, Lighting, Sound, Projections, Stage Management and Technical Direction. 

Training is divided between classroom study and practical production work. Theatrical Design and Technology students have the opportunity to design for department productions.  Training and design opportunities are enhanced by our new, state-of-the-art facilities.
