The relationship between faculty and students makes a difference in any academic program. The Department of Music at Southeastern University is a place where earnest learners flourish under the close, personal instruction of faculty with world-class credentials and wide-ranging experience. Our professors are prizewinning graduates of major music programs and have a breadth of knowledge based on their own professional work in orchestras and with pop artists, as well as composing music for film and television. Most importantly, they are a praying faculty who seek to prepare students to answer God’s call in their lives.
We appreciate your interest in the Department of Music at Southeastern University. Please visit our website (click here) to learn more about our music faculty and various music degrees (Music Education, Commercial Music, Worship Studies, and Bachelor of Arts).
Beginning in the fall of 2022, students with an enthusiasm for performing will have the option of being considered for a performance certificate. These certificates can be added to any SEU music degree or be pursued by non-music majors as a way of being more involved in the music department. Once admitted to a certificate program, students will receive individual instruction, participate in specialized classes, and enjoy numerous performance opportunities.
