Welcome to the ninth annual SPCO Youth Chamber Music Competition!

This competition is open to pre-college musicians 19 years of age or younger who are not enrolled in a college degree program and who reside in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota or Wisconsin. Ensembles may enter in the Senior Division, the Junior Division or the Creative Division.

This year there will be just two rounds — a Video Round and the Final Round. Each ensemble will submit one piece or movement. The entry fee is the same for all ensembles.

The final round will take place in Sundin Hall, Hamline University, St. Paul, Minnesota on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Judges are chosen from The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, the Minnesota Orchestra, and top colleges, universities and studios in Minnesota.

The winning ensemble in the competition will perform in the Ordway Concert Hall in downtown St. Paul on Friday, May 22, 2020, preceding a performance by the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra. Maybe it will be you!!

Please read the 2020 Guidelines carefully before submitting your application. If you need help uploading your video, you may contact support@getacceptd.com.

Sincerely,
Donna Ahrens, Coordinator
