Welcome to the Stringwood Chamber Music Festival Online Audition page

Set in the pristine woodlands of SE Minnesota, Stringwood is a 16-day summer chamber music immersion created for young musicians ages 12-22. Stringwood represents a significant opportunity for intensive study with a world-class dedicated faculty in an environment that enhances and nurtures the natural beauty of chamber music.

The program is located at the Eagle Bluff Environmental Learning Center, home to year round naturalists, organic gardens, 80+ acres of pristine woodlands, canoeing, high ropes courses, indoor rock wall, nature hikes, bike trails, and breathtaking views.

The Stringwood schedule provides ample time and space for personal practice and discovery, in-depth daily rehearsals and coaching, private lessons with master teachers, and generous interaction with world-class guest artists in an energized and collaborative environment.

Dates: AUGUST 3-18, 2024

Tuition/room/board for Stringwood is $2,800. 
In addition, we provide FREE Minneapolis/St. Paul or Rochester, Minnesota Airport pickup for all travelling applicants.

Airline Voucher Program - If you are accepted into the program and there is demonstrated financial need, your tuition can be reduced by the amount of the airfare. (One fare per person only). Contact the director before purchasing a ticket.

Final Acceptance to Stringwood is dependent upon submission of a Medical Release and Code of Conduct Form.
