We are offering both in person and virtual audition opportunities. Please make a choice on the left sidebar which degree plan you are applying for and whether you will be attending an in person audition at TCU, submitting a virtual audition, or attending on of our off-site audition opportunities.
Everyone auditioning for the SCCDance must apply through the Acceptd application and submit all requested materials. This includes all in-person, off-site auditions. Please contact dance@tcu.edu with questions.

The TCU School for Classical & Contemporary Dance welcomes you to its community of artists and scholars where you can perform, create, collaborate and discover in an environment that values mentorship and inquiry. Working closely with resident faculty and engaging annually with multiple guest artists, you’ll be challenged to learn and grow through in-depth experiences in the studio, laboratory, theater, and classroom.
Our graduates are dancing, performing, creating, and teaching across the globe. They have gone on to prestigious graduate programs and also pursued careers in fitness, physical therapy, medicine, arts administration, photography, as well as in numerous other fields. We look forward to meeting you!

In Person Audition Dates:
- Early Action Audition: November 8, 2024
- Application Deadline: November 1, 2024
- Students that apply to TCU and utilize the Early Action deadline (November 1) AND attend the Early Action Audition will have both their TCU academic entrance and SCCD audition decision by December 15th!
- January 24, 2025 - Application Deadline: January 15, 2025
- February 14, 2025 - Application Deadline: February 5, 2025
Virtual Audition Deadlines:
- November 1, 2024 - Decision letters sent by email and mailed out no later than December 15, 2024.
- Students that apply to TCU and utilize the Early Action deadline (November 1) AND submit the Early Action Virtual Audition will have both their TCU academic entrance and SCCD audition decision by December 15th!
- January 15, 2025 - Decision letters sent by email and mailed out no later than March 1, 2025.
