Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition

Welcome to the TICC online application for String Quartets!  We open for applications 10 January 2025. The application deadline is 20 April 2025. After 10 January 2025 you can start your application to get registered and receive updated information on email.
Please complete all fields to submit your application. The applicants will be informed of the selection results by mid May 2025.
Applying TICC is free of charge. If invited to the competition you have to pay the participation fee of 160 EUROS to confirm your participation.

TICC stand together with the Norwegian government and the United Nations, condemning Russia’s illegal and inhuman attacks on Ukraine. This year applications from musicians with Russian or Belarusian citizenship will not be accepted. This regulation is set to exclude Russia and Belarus as nations, rather than the individual applicant.

We truly look forward to the day it is possible for us again to invite Russian and Belarusian musicians to participate in our competition.
