Building Your Craft: From Studio to Stage
This intensive program for college vocal students who have completed their first, second, or third year of college builds a foundation in stagecraft through classes in acting and dramatic interpretation, language and diction, solo and ensemble coaching, stage movement, dance, and body awareness. Led by a faculty with years of international experience, you’ll prepare and stage scenes from operas and operettas for public performance.

Classes and Sessions
Students attend up to 35 hours per week of:
• Dance and movement for the stage
• Techniques in dramatic interpretation
• Diction and language
• Daily individual and ensemble coaching
• Scene staging
• Opera scenes performance
• Guest master classes and lectures
• Baroque interpretation/style
Fees: Application fee, $40 due with completed application
Tuition: $1500. Consideration for financial aid available upon request.
Optional On Campus Housing:
• Townhouse/No meals: $1,200. (Single room in townhouse with shared kitchen, laundry, and bath. Participants are responsible for own meals.)
• Optional Meal plan: $720 (Three meals daily)
• Shared Dorm Room/with Meals: $1320 (Double occupancy in suite, three
meals daily.)
