Some important information:
- School productions adjudicated by industry professionals who provide feedback on their shows.
- Musical productions are adjudicated from October 2024 through March 2025.
- Productions can be nominated for various awards, Finalists announced in Spring of 2025, and Winners announced at TTA Ceremony on June 6, 2025.
- Yearly ceremony takes place in the Sarofim Theater atThe Hobby Center.
- For Outstanding Leads, Supporting Leads, Honorable Mentions, Actors, Singers, Dancers, a 2 Week-long rehearsal process in preparation for TTA Ceremony on June 6.
- Ceremony showcases outstandingperformances, highlights individualperformers, and recognizes finalists and winners.
- TTA Scholarship funds are available and awarded based on scholarship committee review. Winners are announced live at the ceremony on June 6, 2024.
- The two (2) TTA Outstanding Lead Winners go on to represent the City of Houston atthe National High School MusicalTheatre Awards (The Jimmy Awards) in NYC.
- Interest Form Open: August 12, 2024
- Interest Form Deadline: September 6, 2024
- Adjudication Timeline: October 2024 through March 2025
- Tommy Tune Award Ceremony Rehearsals: May 27 - June 5, 2025
- Tommy Tune Award Ceremony: Friday, June 6th, 2025
