Accredited by NASM (the National Association for Schools of Music), UMBC offers five different Bachelor of Arts degrees in Music Performance (voice or instrumental), Music Composition, Jazz Studies, Music Technology, and Music Education (choral or instrumental). Ample performance opportunities both as a soloist and with our ensembles large and small, alongside courses in music theory, musicianship, music history, and music technology, will develop your talent and hone your skills in preparation for your musical career.

- October 22, 2023 deadline - Saturday, November 4, 2023 audition (Departmental Scholarship and Regular Audition)
- January 10, 2024 deadline - Saturday, January 27, 2024 audition (Departmental Scholarship and Regular Audition, Snow Date: February 3)
- March 24, 2024 deadline - Saturday, April 6, 2024 audition (Departmental Scholarship and Regular Audition)
- May 19, 2024 deadline - Saturday, June 6, 2024 (Transfer Students and Late Applicants ONLY)
