Welcome to the pre-screen upload site for the Music Department at the University of Maryland Baltimore County! Our renowned faculty, our supportive musical community, and the resources of a research university will provide the environment you need to flourish as a young musician.

Accredited by NASM (the National Association for Schools of Music), UMBC offers five different Bachelor of Arts degrees in Music Performance (voice or instrumental), Music Composition, Jazz Studies, Music Technology, and Music Education (choral or instrumental). Ample performance opportunities both as a soloist and with our ensembles large and small, alongside courses in music theory, musicianship, music history, and music technology, will develop your talent and hone your skills in preparation for your musical career.

- October 15, 2022 deadline - Saturday, November 5, 2022 audition (Departmental Scholarship and Regular Audition)
- January 6, 2023 deadline - Friday, January 27 and Saturday 28, 2023 audition (Departmental Scholarship and Regular Audition, Snow Date: February 3 & 4)
- March 11, 2023 deadline - Saturday, April 8, 2023 audition (Departmental Scholarship and Regular Audition)
- May 11, 2023 deadline - Thursday, June 1, 2023 (Transfer Students ONLY)
