The Faculty of Fine Arts and Music is the proud home of the Victorian College of the Arts and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. We contribute to a deeper understanding of the arts through our research and fuel the spirit of Melbourne's arts community.

Our student body comprises more than 2,500 undergraduate, graduate, research, international and exchange students. Our staff, including internationally recognised artists, musicians and researchers, give our students the tools they need to find their own unique voice. In addition, more than 8,000 students take University of Melbourne breadth subjects with our Faculty each year. That means around 12% of the University's students explore the creative arts through our Faculty, enriching their knowledge and skills and enhancing their employability.

Whether you study at our Southbank campus in the heart of Melbourne's Arts Precinct or at the University's Parkville campus we encourage you to find your artistic voice.

Simply put, we believe in the power of artistic minds and their ability to effect change.
