Hello from the University of Nevada, Reno!
UNR has a BA-Musical Theatre program!!
Our curriculum has fully considered the demands of all three fields contained in the degree (theatre, voice, and dance) in an effort to build competitive, triple-threat performers. We're a small program housed within a large university. Here you will receive a liberal arts education with conservatory-level training. With a smaller faculty and no graduate program, we offer our undergraduate students more one-on-one attention and an education that cultivates individualized learning. Our professors are working and practicing professionals. Their industry involvement ensures you will receive a relevant and current education. Additionally, the UNR Theatre and Dance Department's close relationship with the UNR Music Department allows easy access to many other classes and opportunities. We are devoted to nurturing your training and growth to not only help you reach your potential, but to exceed it!
