Verbier Festival Learning Programs

Welcome to the Acceptd page of the Verbier Festival

Set in the heart of the Swiss Alps, the Verbier Festival is a renowned international classical music festival with a worldwide reputation for creative and dynamic learning programmes. Through its Academy, Orchestras and Music Camp, it offers young soloists and orchestra musicians the opportunity to perfect their skills, to learn from great masters and to perform to a large audience, whilst enjoying all that the Verbier Festival has to offer!

Verbier Festival Academy (15 July - 3 August 2014)

The Academy programme is designed especially for pianists, string players, singers and chamber groups (age limit: 27 years). Through a unique combination of masterclasses and chamber music workshops with distinguished teachers, performances in and around Verbier, encounters with Festival artists and intensive career development discussions, the Academy gives its participants the opportunity to fine-tune their musical skills and to challenge themselves to consider the next steps towards a life in music.

It looks as though all accepted participants will receive a scholarship for their participation in 2014.
