Dance is a beautiful and ancient art form that is thriving in our contemporary culture. Dance students at Weber State University challenge themselves to grow in many ways. They develop physical and mental discipline, enhanced self-expression, increased confidence, leadership, creativity, and professionalizing skills.

Our Dance program provides a rigorous experience in dance techniques, creative courses, and academic studies. We offer our students many opportunities to perform on campus, for the community, at festivals, and in professional venues. Our graduates are working throughout Utah and the nation as performers, choreographers, arts administrators, and dance educators in the public and private sectors. Being in the WSU Department of Performing Arts – where dance, music, and theatre occur side by side – you will enjoy opportunities to collaborate with students, faculty, and professional performing artists locally and nationwide.
