Welcome to the virtual audition website for the West Texas A&M University Theatre Program. WT Theatre is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre. For those seeking a rigorous, pre-professional training program, we offer the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting, Design & Technology, and Musical Theatre. For those seeking a more flexible, liberal arts program, we offer the Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Performance and Theatre Design & Technology. In addition, for those who wish to teach in the public school system, we offer the Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre with EC-12 Certification in the state of Texas.

Admission Process for WT Theatre

Step 1: Apply for Admission to West Texas A&M University www.wtamu.edu. (Texas Common Application)


Step 2
: Submit your Acceptd audition (for Acting, Musical Theatre, Theatre Performance, Theatre Education) or design/technical portfolio (Design & Technology).

Information about our audition requirements can be found at www.wtamu.edu/theatre/auditions.


Step 3: After faculty have reviewed your Acceptd submission, you may receive an acceptance* into a WT Theatre degree program or a request for an additional submission or on-campus audition/interview.

*Students who receive an acceptance into a WT Theatre degree program will also receive an invitation to visit campus to tour facilities, meet faculty and students, and see a production.


Deadlines
Priority deadline for University & Theatre scholarship consideration: February 1

Deadline to complete an Acceptd submission to WT Theatre: April 15
