Entry to the Conservatorium is by audition. If applying in Undergraduate or Postgraduate coursework, you must formally apply to the University of Sydney and to ACCEPTD, right here at the Con's official audition portal. Follow the steps outlined below to make your application.

International Students
The Sydney Conservatorium welcomes you to audition with us for 2025 and 2026 entry. You will submit your audition video (or composition works) in this portal. Follow the steps below to submit your audition:
- Select from the dropdowns to start your application
- Fill out the application form
- Pay the fee
- Carefully read the instructions on how to schedule your timeslot and/or upload files.
- Submit your application.

Undergraduate entry (domestic students)
Audition applications are closed for 2025 entry.> If you are a current University of Sydney student interested in transferring courses:
Register in this portal from 1 November to 30 November 2024. Follow the ACCEPTD steps below to register your details as an internal transfer student.
And don't forget to make an internal course application via your Sydney Student portal!

Postgraduate coursework entry (domestic and international students)
We are currently accepting audition applications in performance (except Opera) for 2025 intake.- Apply direct to the University of Sydney by no later than 30 November 2024.
- Register before 30 Nov to present a live audition in December or you may elect to submit a video if you are unable to travel to Sydney, Australia.
- Follow the ACCEPTD steps below to register your audition.

Registering in ACCEPTD - you will register, schedule (and upload files if required).
- Select from the dropdowns to start your application
- Fill out the application form
- Pay the fee
- Carefully read the instructions on how to schedule your timeslot and/or upload files
- Submit your application.
If you are required to book an appointment, we recommend doing this first (step 1-4 above), then you can come back later to upload your media if you need to. Your application will remain 'in progress' if you don't complete all steps listed above.
Receiving your audition result
Notifications regarding your audition/interview result will be sent to your Acceptd 'messages' tab in your profile. It is important to note that this message is purely about your audition or interview only and not about a place at the University of Sydney. Official notices about USYD entry are sent from the university.
Postgraduate Research candidates do not use this portal. Please apply directly to the University of Sydney.

A non-refundable audition fee of US$30 applies to each audition application made.
